Race Matters examines the nomenclature of race, class, gender, and culture and how they intersect with past historical phenomena and present narratives. The ubiquitous nature of racism is real, as well as how it is interpreted. Race Matters seeks to discuss the critical nature of how we talk about race and our moral obligation to confront it. I was honored when members of the Newburyport community invited me to launch this show, as it is central to how we talk about race and community. Education and conversations are important as we collectively listen to one another about differences.
